The more I hear about Artificial Intelligence the more ridiculous becomes its often heard defense that Artificial Intelligence has contributed so much to programming technology –for both, the claim and its debunking, see the various contributions to the Lighthill Report–. I see more and more reason to characterize its contribution as “adding to the confusion”.
