I shared this recently, so more on this below
I had the “keyboard kindle” 12 years ago, and used it a lot
At that time, all that existed was the Kindle (and a Sony model, which is a separate note for later)
Later, I’ve tried the Paperwhite, and the Oasis – which I gave to my dad.
More recently, I went back to a combination of (1) just using “regular ol' paper books”, and (2) PDFs and ePub on my iPad
Now I’m getting the “e-reader itch” again.
It turns out a lot of options now though!
I do have a Barnes and Noble membership, and felt like trying something not Amazon, and … discovered that there’s a new Nook model coming out in less than a month.
So, Kindle vs Nook?
There’s more though – I had no idea at all about the Kobo line of products!
Having recently discovered Overdrive, easy library integration matters a lot.
So … Kindle vs Kobo vs Nook … hard choices.
