We live in an age of abundance, in many respects.
There are more ways to learn things than ever before.
In my case, I was looking through options for my daughter to play around with.
We previously tried Swift Playgrounds, which I thought was fun.
Having previously used both Repl.It and Glitch myself, I was comparing them.
That’s when I stumbled across this Reddit thread … and learned about Thonny.
The user interface is has that “early 00s Linux” feel to it, but otherwise it feels nice, as a sandbox for someone new to programming.
P.S. Yes, I do wish it had a better name
