I passed by this poster in the lobby of a hotel, then came back for a closer look because I’d seen that name somewhere.
I had to stand and stare before I realized that I’d stumbled across them while looking for covers of a particular song …
… except that I couldn’t recall what that song was. Later, I went through my Youtube watch history and found I had watched a few other videos by them, from 2015 (i.e. eight years ago !!), so I knew I wasn’t imagining things.
However, this particular song no longer existed (which sort of makes sense, since all the other recent videos on their channel have a much higher production quality)
They have a lot more relevant covers now too. I (obviously) spent some time going through their recent ones, here are some favorites:
I had really enjoyed this early cover of theirs, though and find it impressive that they’ve been able to sustain this band, so good luck to Larkin Poe.
